The electrically heated rotary furnace is indirectly heated externally and consists of a drum, a drive and support mechanism, an integral steel chassis and inclination adjustment mechanism, a spiral feeder, a charging end cover, a discharge end cover, a dynamic and static seal, an electrically heated furnace, a measurement and control system, safety measures and other components.
1.Drum
The residence time of the material is adjusted by the rotational speed of the drum. The exhaust gas generated during the roasting process flows counter-current to the charging end and is led out by the exhaust gas outlet at the top of the charging end hood into the recycling system.
2.Transmission and support mechanism
Including: gear ring, gear, roller ring, pallets, strengthening plate, pad, connecting plate, bracket support, reducer motor, gear cover, etc.
3.Integral steel chassis and inclination adjustment mechanism
The above drive and support mechanism, together with the external heating furnace, is installed on the overall steel chassis, which can adjust the inclination angle with the drum as a whole.
4.Spiral feeder
The spiral feeder is installed on the overall steel chassis by the steel bracket, which can adjust the inclination angle with the drum as a whole.
5.Feeding end hood
The upper part of the charging end hood is equipped with an exhaust gas outlet, and the lower part of the hood is equipped with a material removal port and an insertion valve so that the possible accumulation of material in the hood can be cleared at any time. A screw feeder is installed at the centre of the end panel of the hood. The hood of the charging end is supported by steel sections on an integral steel chassis, and the thickness of the hood takes full account of the influence of thermal elongation of the drum.
6.Discharge end hood
The lower part of the discharge end hood is equipped with a discharge opening, a barrel temperature measurement casing is installed at the centre of the end panel of the hood, and a maintenance manhole and a baffle type observation hole are installed next to it.
7.Dynamic and static sealing
Each set of sealing mechanism includes: drum dynamic ring, end cover static ring, packing compression ring, sealing packing, fastening bolt, compression spring, etc. The sealing surface between the dynamic ring and static ring is filled with multiple sealing fillers and sealed by compression rings, bolts, compression springs etc.
8.Electric heating furnace
An electric heating furnace is set up between the two supporting rollers at the front and rear of the drum to heat the outer wall of the drum from outside.
The inner lining of the furnace is made of refractory folding modules, which dissipate less heat and the temperature rise on the outer surface of the furnace body is less than 30°C.
